History The roots of Wiggert & Co. GmbH date back to 1963, when the first concrete batching and mixing plants were designed and manufactured in Karlsruhe-Durlach, where the company is headquartered still today.
Over the years more than 4000 plants were designed, manufactured and delivered to customers worldwide; some of the plants have been in operation for more than 35 years.
In the beginning most of the plants were manufactured for the ready-mix industry, however over the years Wiggert & Co. was able to expand its activities to the block and paver industry as well as to the precast industry.
Over the years the machinery and equipment was continuously adapted to the changing market requirements. In the first years mainly single-shaft mixers and RTM pan mixers were used. To meet the increasing demand for high-quality concrete Wiggert & Co. GmbH has been manufacturing since 1991 exclusively HPGM planetary countercurrent mixers, which are integrated into the concrete batching and mixing plants. With more than 1000 HPGM planetary countercurrent mixers delivered worldwide Wiggert & Co. has long years of experience in the production of high-quality concrete. In 2000 the product range was enlarged by twin-shaft mixers, which are exclusively used for Ready-Mix and wetcast applications with large production volumes.
